This was my third stay at the Jinling Hotel Nanjing, and I must say I remain pleased with my experience. The hotel really knows how to train thier staff to provide a "service first" attitude. You always find hotel staff willing to cater to your needs, and they really make you feel like a welcomed guest. The hotel's breakfast buffet is probably one of the best I've had in China, great variety and replenished often.
The rooms are well appointed, and having stayed on the executive floor, you have access to the executive suite where you can get a snack, or invite up for a drink during their happy hour The location is also a plus, at the Xinjiekou metro intersection which is just steps from the hotel's door , you have underground access to several high end shopping malls and many restaurants to choose from.
A great hotel that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Our room was of an appropriate standard for its star rating. The bathroom was spotless with generous supplies of the usual sundries toothbrush, paste, comb, shampoo etc. We used the restaurant only for breakfast which catered for both Eastern and Western tastes with an outstanding variety of food.
The quality was very good also. The service all round was very good. We used the subways to explore the many shopping centres and departmental stores nearby.
Several of our party including myself were in need of a massage after two long days of site-seeing and were recommended a clinic within walking distance of the hotel by our guide. It was excellent and a must for weary tourists! As we were on an organised tour this was a very pleasant, centrally located hotel that ticked most of the boxes.
